Daily living

What a week here actually looks like

Independence is taught where it happens: in the kitchen, at the cash machine, and in the appointment waiting room.

Cooking and meal planning

Young people plan their own meals, shop to a list and cook for themselves, with staff alongside for as long as that helps.

Money and budgeting

Weekly budgeting, bank accounts, benefits, bills and saving, managed in a setting where a mistake is recoverable.

Education, training and work

Getting to college, holding down an apprenticeship, preparing for interviews, and building the routine around it.

Health and appointments

Registering with a GP and dentist, attending appointments, managing prescriptions and asking services for what you need.
